AHMEDABAD:
As part of an ongoing drive against gambling and illegal activities led by the Ahmedabad Rural Police, the Local Crime Branch (LCB) busted an outdoor gambling operation in the Changodar area, arresting four individuals.
Acting under the direction of Inspector General of Police Shri Raghavendra Vats and Superintendent of Police (Ahmedabad Rural) Shri Om Prakash Jat, an LCB team led by Police Inspector R.N. Karamatiya was conducting routine patrols. Based on specific intelligence gathered by Police Constables Shaileshbhai Bharwad and Ranjitsinh Solanki, police raided an open plot near the Taajpur Road weighing bridge in Changodar.
During the raid, officers apprehended four men engaged in gambling and seized ₹41,010 in cash from the spot. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused.

- Jesangbhai Merabhai Shankarbhai Od (Currently residing in Vasajda, Kalol, Gandhinagar; originally from Lilapur, Ghatlodia, Ahmedabad)
- Himmatbhai Bhupatbhai Mansing Od (Residing in Kamod Bharwad Vas, Daskroi, Ahmedabad)
- Vishnubhai Manjibhai Chaganbhai Od (Residing in Kalikund, Dholka, Ahmedabad)
- Ranjitbhai Himmatbhai Jerambhai Beldar (Currently residing in Shekhdi)

The operation was carried out by PI R.N. Karamatiya, PSI R.B. Rathod, ASI Dharamshibhai Desai, ASI Ajaysinh Chudasama, HC Ajitsinh Padheriya, HC Dilavarsinh Vaghela, PC Mahendrasinh Solanki, PC Shaileshbhai Bharwad, and PC Ranjitsinh Solanki.
