NEW DELHI — Inaugurating the SEMICON India 2026 conference in the national capital, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated the government’s commitment to transforming India into a global hub for semiconductor manufacturing and technology innovation.
Speaking at the event, PM Modi highlighted India’s rapid progress over recent years and emphasized that domestic technology advancement remains central to achieving a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India).
