Ahmedabad: Bodakdev Police Station has announced the successful resolution of a burglary case, with the arrest of two individuals.
According to the police report, between 8:00 PM on April 9, 2025, and 9:20 AM on April 10, 2025, a burglary occurred at an office (A/301, third floor, Stellar Complex, opposite Arista Building, Sindhubhavan Road, Bodakdev). The perpetrator(s) entered the office by opening the main door and broke into the cash room, stealing ₹25,73,559 in cash.
The Bodakdev Police Station registered a case under Part A. Gu.R.Ji. Number-11191006250099/2025, B.N.S. Sections 305(A) and 331(4).
Under the guidance of Police Commissioner Shri, Additional Commissioner of Police Shri Sector-1, Deputy Commissioner of Police Shri Zone-7, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Shri “N” Division, a surveillance team led by Police Inspector Shri A.S. Patel and PSI Shri Y.Y. Chauhan investigated the crime. The team analyzed CCTV footage from the scene and surrounding areas and used mobile tower locations to identify the suspects.
Police arrested two of the four individuals involved in the burglary, recovering ₹5,25,000 in cash.
The arrested individuals have been identified as:
* Sanju @ Sanjay S/O Bholanath Manjiram Raval, 31 years old, resident of Vastrapur, Ahmedabad, originally from Ward No-11 V.P.O. Delwada Lokiya, Ta-Ghatol, Dist-Banswara, Rajasthan.
* Shiva S/O Kachrubhai Kuriyabhai Raval, 30 years old, resident of Shyamal Satellite, Ahmedabad, originally from Village-Dukwara Rajpur Mohalla, Ta-Ganoda, Dist-Banswara, Rajasthan.
The police recovered ₹5,25,000 worth of cash.
